Holy Bible (Santa Biblia) does not collect, sell or share personal data. It has no accounts, ads or analytics. Everything you do in the app stays on your phone.
What the app stores
The app stores on your device, and only there: your reading progress and streak, the verses you highlight or favorite, your notes, your own mood themes and reading plans, your badges and your settings (language, font size, reminder times). None of this is sent to us or to third parties.
Offline, no servers
The Bible text is included in the app. You do not need internet to read, listen or use any feature, and we run no servers that receive your data.
Backup and sync
- iPhone and iPad: if you turn on sync, your data is stored in your own iCloud account, controlled by Apple and your account. We have no access to it. You can turn it off in Settings.
- Backup file: you can export your data to a file and keep it wherever you like, or import it on another device. The file is yours and is only shared if you choose to send it.
Permissions
- Notifications: only if you turn on the daily verse or the reading reminder. They are scheduled on your device at the time you choose; no servers are involved.
- Read aloud: uses your operating system's voice. The app does not send the text off your device.
Sharing
When you share a verse, the app creates an image or text and opens your system's share sheet. You choose who receives it.
Children
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If anything changes, we will update this page and the date above.
